Delete your data.

SwapGenie has no accounts. Almost everything lives on your phone, and you can delete it yourself in a few taps. For anything else, send us one email.

Email hello@swapgenie.app Every email request is handled within 30 days, usually within a few business days.

Delete the data on your phone

Your profile, allergens, lifestyle choices, nutrition goal, family members and scan history are stored only on your phone. We never receive them, so you delete them directly in the app:

  1. Open SwapGenie Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Tap Delete all my data You'll find it under Your data.
  3. Confirm Tap Delete everything. Your profile, family members, scan history, saved products and settings are removed from the phone right away.

Uninstalling SwapGenie removes this data too. If your phone backs up apps to your Google or Apple account, that backup is managed in your phone's settings, not by us.

Subscribed to Pro? Deleting your data doesn't cancel the subscription. Cancel it in Google Play: Play Store → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → SwapGenie.

Delete the data we hold

SwapGenie is published by MarVikIT (Novi Sad, Serbia). Each request is handled personally. Email hello@swapgenie.app with the subject Delete my data, and send it from the address you used, so we can find your records.

We'll delete your waitlist email (if you joined on this website) and the emails you've sent us, then confirm by email.

App analytics and crash reports aren't linked to your name or email, so we can't look them up by your address. Uninstalling the app resets its random identifier, detailed analytics data expires on its own within 14 months, and crash reports within 90 days.

What gets deleted vs kept

Deleted

  • Profile, allergens, lifestyle choices and nutrition goal (on your phone, by you)
  • Family members (on your phone, by you)
  • Scan history and saved products (on your phone, by you)
  • Your waitlist email (by us, on request)
  • Emails you've sent us (by us, on request)

Kept

  • Analytics totals that can't be linked to anyone
  • Financial records Serbian tax and accounting law requires. Purchases go through Google Play or the App Store; we never hold card details.
  • Records needed to defend against a legal claim, if one exists at the time
