Cookie Policy

Last updated October 21, 2026

This policy explains how the website swapgenie.app, run by Nikola Dimovski (doing business as SwapGenie), uses cookies. The short answer: only Google Analytics, to count visits. No advertising cookies.

The SwapGenie app doesn't use cookies. What the app collects is explained in our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember something between visits, for example that you've been there before.

Which cookies does this website use?

Analytics

Google Analytics (GA4)

Google Analytics helps us see how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where they're from (country or city, from the IP address), which device and browser they use, and which site sent them. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_L444ZJVMW7, which keep a random visitor ID for up to 2 years. Google processes this data for us. Google Analytics advertising features are turned off.

No cookies

Hosting and the waitlist form

The website is hosted by Netlify. Showing the pages and sending the waitlist form doesn't need cookies. The email you enter is sent with the form; see the Privacy Policy.

How can I control cookies?

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website works fully without them.

To stop Google Analytics on every website, you can use Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

This website and the app show no ads and use no advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Changes

If the cookies we use change, we update this page and the date at the top.
